Gîldorn is lively and easy to approach, always happy to chat and swap stories, to meet new people. While he is initially suspicious of strangers, especially towards Dwarves and other Elves not from Mirkwood his curiosity often wins out and he might approach even them, though he is most fascinated by race of Men.
His overly lively and easygoing personality might easily start being overbearing and stuffy to those he accompanies eve if its not his topmost intention.
Gîldorn is somewhat easy to offend and his temper flares fast to the point where arguments can break about and turn even to a wrestling match, but he is equally as fast to forget the dispute and forgive.. He mostly holds true grudges only against orcs and other of such filth.
He values people not scared of hard work, ones with responsibility. Both are extremely good traits on Gîldorn's books. When meeting someone with good grasp of leadership and with brave character Gîldorn can lapse into a phase his brother calls ''Like love sick maiden when they see hero of old pass by.''
This over adoration can sometimes make Gîldorn easy to manipulate by others he has raised on pedestal.
As a lover boy, Gîldorn is a terrible flirt but only to men he thinks will not be offended by his advances, he doesn't mind much if turned down as he is mostly just looking for a fun.
Fear of being underground - Humans fascinate him - Has never seen the ocean and is afraid to.
"You are indeed like a young oak. Digging your roots deep in the heart of wood you love but branches ever reaching up up and around! Like your mind does as you listen for the tales told by others, always wondering what is in the wast world around you. Peril and danger but it is also filled with wonders like you'd never seen."
